About Gas Safety Inspections
A gas safety inspection assesses all gas appliances, piping, and ventilation for safety and efficiency. Our skilled engineers check appliance operation, flue and chimney venting, and inspect for leaks. We also test safety devices and carbon monoxide detectors. After the inspection, you'll receive a Gas Safety Certificate detailing the results and any required actions.

Gas Safety Certificate
Landlords are legally obligated to have all gas appliances, pipework, chimneys, and flues inspected annually to ensure the safety of the properties they rent out to tenants.
After the inspection is completed, you will receive a Gas Safety Certificate, commonly referred to as a CP12 Certificate. It’s essential to provide a copy of this certificate to your tenants within 28 days and to new renters upon their arrival. Don’t forget to retain previous certificates, as CP12s must be kept for a minimum of two years.

Risks of Unsafe Gas Appliances
Carbon monoxide poisoning: This toxic, odorless gas can be fatal.
Gas leaks: These pose serious fire or explosion risks. If you smell gas, contact emergency services immediately.
Fires and explosions: Malfunctioning appliances or damaged pipes can lead to gas leaks that may ignite.
It's essential to have your gas pipework checked during your annual gas safety inspection. Landlords are legally required to maintain pipework.
